HELP! I AM DESPERATE!!!

Hee! Like that title?
Well, have not been blogging for at least a week.. Why?? CNY Lor... Been busy visiting relatives.. and giving out ang paos..
But this year, me and Ck quite enjoyed our CNY.. Cos we spent the nights watching movies: "Love matters" on the first night and "Red Cliff 2" on the second..
It was funny cos when we told Ja that we were going for a movie and that he was to stay at my grandma's house with his jiujiu(s) and yeeyee(s), his comment was:
"Oh you and daddy watching movie? Can you pack some popcorns back for me?"
On the second night....
"Huh!! Movie again! You watched one yesterday already right?!"
(LOL)
Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves...
Finally got back to work mode on Thurs..
On Fri, I went for high tea at Marriot Hotel with my 2 buddies who are also my colleagues.. Felt that Marriot's standard has dropped.. but nonetheless, it was a good time we spent eating and chitchatting..
Well, after that the zone had the MARKETPLACE OUTREACH session at riverwalk.. I felt a bit out of place initially (hahaha) cos there were so many youths!!
But I was very blessed by the sharing as Ck talked about DESPERATION.
And indeed it is so true.. Dreams, Diligence and Desire can only bring us to a certain level, but it is indeed DESPERATION that will lead us to BREAKTHROUGH!!
One very good example is my fellow colleague who is also a manager..
He was very very very DESPERATE for his promotion last year. And out of his desperation, he, with his team of consultants actually broke through and did the what seemed impossible!
I am sooo happy for him that he got his promotion!! And i believe it's not just because he has always dreamed, desired or worked hard.. but truly he was DESPERATE! He gave himself NO TURNING BACK and NO OPTION not to get promoted! Wow!! And I think I just was not desperate enough for my promotion last year.
You know what?
For the first time, I am not afraid of saying
" HELP! I AM DESPERATE!!!" :))
