Last Wednesday was a Barney Day for little Jewel.. It was raining heavily and the plan to watch The Barney show was a very impromptu thingy. In any case, I booked a cab and rushed to United Square with Jewel in the midst of the rain.
Oh my, it was so crowded even though there was another half hour before the show begins!!
Suddenly I thought of walking into Chocz n ordered a cuppa coffee and cake while having a great view seated down! Momentarily, I felt so smart!! Hahahaha
Jewel needed time to warm up ( just like Ja when he was young)! And by the time she was dancing, singing and waving at Barney, the show was over!! But this gal really did enjoy herself.
Guess being a mum of 3 means I have to have time together with each individual kids, to bring them out for a treat etc.. It really does work magic! We did that for Ja ( his beyblade competition) last week and now with Jew for her Barney treat.. This makes them feel special that daddy and mummy are spending time with them ALONE and at the same time, they also will think about their other siblings while they are out with us!
Never did I know that J3 also wants to 'spend quality time' with me!! That very night, my helper Jona discovered that his urine was stained with blood. We were shocked and scared and rushed him to KK children's emergency. Poor Josh was diagnosed with UTI ( suspected) and had to be warded.
The rest was history. We spent 4 days in KK and he was only discharged on Sunday. Throughtout this stay, mummy was so so tired. Though we opted for a Single bed room( as we had insurance to cover), it's just not the same as Gleneagles!
Everything in KK has to wait and wait and wait! Treatment only started 2 days later as we had to WAIT for the test results to confirm it's UTI. Waited for half a day for another set of results to be out before Josh was discharged. Upon approval, we waited for another hour before we can walk out of the hospital!!
Sigh, guess next time I will opt for Gleneagles if there is anything (God forbid!!)
Well, thank God it's finally over! Ja and Jew were so happy to see their baby back home again. They had been waiting and asking for Josh..
Those 4 days were one of the worst I experienced... To see Josh having needles and tubes poked into his little hands and feet.
Now whenever we put him down for diaper change, he would screamed his heart out! He must have thought it's another round of blood test again:( poor baby...
Drinking coffee at MOF now.. Catching up on my readings while waiting for time to pass.. Am reading this book by Myrna B. Shure
Will be fetching Ja n Ethan to watch Rapunzel later. Meanwhile both boys are playing beyblades at Ethan's place..
Poor Jew has to stay home though I really wish to bring her along.. This gal just refused to watch movies in the cinema cos she is scared of the darkness!! My mum said it's just like me when I was young and she brought me to watch 'Lao(3) Fu(1) Zi(3).. I was crying when Lao Fu Zi was being chased by a tiger n my mum had no choice but to carry me out! So embarrasing!!
Ran a few errands n settled banking matters.. I really feel like I m the Finance Minister, the Home Affairs, Communications n Transport, and Education Minister of the Tan family!!
It's good that iPhone has this blogger apps so I can pen down my thoughts n happenings whenever I m free! It's like writing a diary:)
Well yesterday we had a funtastic time at Duxton! The kids had a great time playing n dancing with uncle Handi's new X box! It was so entertaining that my mum wanted a set for her Christmas present!! Lol!
We shall see how long this fire will last for her:)
Relaxing at Starbucks with hubby now.. All 3 kiddos are sleeping already:) Mmmm this is heaven!
Brought the kiddos out today.. Honestly we really are clueless about where to bring them to especially so on a rainy Saturday.
Jewel has been bugging us to do painting again so we made our way to suntec again! This princess really loves handicrafts and painting.
We also saw a roadshow by AIBI and the 2 kiddos ended up jumping on the trampoline.
It was quite hilarious cos Jewel couldn't really balance well especially with her gorgor jumping vigourously!! She ended up hitting him n screaming instead..
Sometimes I really feel very challenged in my motherhood when the kiddos or rather, Jewel, starts to behave like a little 'monster'! She even attempted and sadly to say, succeeded in biting Javier's arm today!!! His arm now has her teeth marks and the wound bled a bit:( oh my!!
That's why I have been visiting the library and reading up on parenting books ( on disciplining, educating children) before I resume my hectic lifestyle again.. One and a half months more to go..
Finally! We bought our new place. Signed the papers at HDB Hub this morning.. So happy!!!
After which we went to United Square to help Ja sign up for his beyblade competition.. Yes it's the latest thing on town. In fact, it was his classmate who told him about the competition and Ja has been wanting to take part.
Stage is set!
Well, his daddy bought for him more gadgets to add on to his collection. No wonder daddy is always the favourite one around!!
Competition is at 2pm so we took the MRT to Orchard to get our hair cut n colored..
Daddy finally colored his hair!!
Well hopefully Ja does well for the competition later. Pray with me together!:)
Finally, after 8 months of 'fasting' from blogging, I have decided to ressurect my blog once again!
