What a conference! And more updates...:)

So tired after the Asia Conference!! But it was great. This time was very differnet from Emerge.. felt that it's not just hyped up but the message of penetrating the society and embracing the culture was spread thru out and really hit the churches of Asia .. even for us in CHC. Many a time, we heard about the Cultural Mandate.. but it became like a slogan after a while. This was indeed a great conference to let us experience visually the impact we can have to penetrate the society!! :)) WOW!!
Anyway, have been trying to blog, but just too tired...
Last Sun after the Baby dedication, we went to Orchard to experience the Christmas Lights!! It's the time of the year again! I have loved Nov and Dec since I was a child... Why? Well more than just Xmas, it's also my birthday (hee), and the weather is sooo breezy and cool! I simply love the combination!
Took some pics... Brought the kids to Borders as well.. Ja loves to go Borders.. Think he loves the "shiokness" of picking up his books and dumping into the basket saying," I'll take this, and this, and this... and that... and that..." :( (He thinks his parents own Borders!!)
Anyway, it was funny cos when he had a basket full of books, Jona (my maid) said to him...," ok Ja, for every book tat you buy, you will have to finish reading them or else no TV for you.."
Ja: oohh, Think I dun need this.. And that one is too thick.... and I dun like this.....
hee hee hee... it works!
We had an interesting conversation after Fri's Asia Conference..
Ja: Mummie, just now in children's church ah.. I saved somebody's life lei!
Me: Wow Really!! Why??
Ja: Oohh cos a boy almost fell down , then I stretched out my hand and caught him! The teacher said I am a hero leh! :)
Me: Wow! I am sooo proud of you!
Ja: Mummie, remember the other time you fell down? (I fell 2 days b4 I gave to Jewel.. think too heavy so my legs gave way:( I couldnt save you cos I was still small (erm.. it was only April this yr!).. But Daddy saved you right!:)
Ja: Think ah, I will be in charge of saving the children.. Then Daddy will save the adults instead! How about that??
Me: Sure!........
p.s. Was he speaking literally or in parables? "Save"??? (Seems like a prophesy:)))
Kids are sooo amazing!
Anyway, see Jewjew reading books in Borders.. seems as if she really reading...

OOhh!!! It's been some time since I last blogged!
Busy busy busy....
Just came back to work after taking 2 days MC... But it was a good break.. spent lots of time with my 2 babies:))
Recently, we were on our way to my mum-in-law's place when we had this conversation with Ja in my car...
Ja: Mummie, where are we going??Me: Going to Nai Nai's (grannie) place lor.. to visit your children too.:)Ja: Huh?Children?Me: Your rabbits Rachel and Brandon remember?? Been some time since we last visited them? Don't you miss them?Ja: SILENCE....Ja: Huh crazy ah..!!! I AM NOT A RABBIT HOR!!!ME: LOL!!! :))))Don't you think he is smart? To think that I am referring him to a rabbit when I did not even have the intention!
Kids Nowadays!.....
Anyway, Took care of the 2 of them over the weekend... Maid went for her off... Really don't know how Shuying manages it EVERYDAY in US!!! WOW!I salute her!
We had Jewjew's baby dedication.. tiring weekend but felt so satisfied!:))
It seems like Jewjew has "crossed-over" after her dedication! She became very PLAYFUL and CHEEKY!! Seems like she has something up her sleeve in some of her responses towards us!
(eg) she will pretend to sleep when I was patting her and when she hears her Daddy's voice, she will open her eyes and give that sweet yet playful smile! As if her daddy is back to 'rescue' her from her bedtime!
And when Aunty Jona tried to carry her back to the room (to make her sleep), Jewjew will look in all other direction except hers!! THink it must be the milk powder they are drinking nowadays! She very "geng (1)"one....:)
FOr those of you reading this, you might be wondering what's the big deal? Yup true cos words cant describe that cheekiness in her! You need to see it for yourelf before you understand what i am trying to say!
Anyway, friends in church commented that Jewel is sooo different from last time.. She refuses to sit still.. wants to get involved in whatever her ge ge is playing with... makes so much noise to get your attention....
But
SHE IS CUTE:)))OOhhh how i miss my JaJa and Jewjew now....

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!
Ja is staying overnight at Palm Garden again... Usual routine on Fri. So I can blog :)
Have been working very hard for the past 2 weeks! Meeting up with my clients... So has been feeling really tired...:(
Nevertheless, thank God that I have 2 cuties waiting for me to de-stress every time I get home!:)) Children are such a blessing!:)) Let me de-stress by talking about them...
JAVIERRecently we bought him a transformer toy (YELLOW BUMBLE BEE). That boy actually gave that toy to his classmate Bryan the very next day!!! I'm like... HUH!!!
Ck later found out that cos Bryan asked him for the toy and "threatened" not to "friend" him if he does not do so... Hence, dear Ja gave him the toy.. Somehow.. Bryan passed the toy to another friend....sigh! neverending...
Ck felt that if Ja gave it away out of his generousity he is fine with it.. but definitely not out of pressure! So the daddy actually went to talk to the principal:) (OMG!)
Ja was very funny.. he was quite nervous and scared.. but all things turn out well. Ck told him that if he asks the toy back from Bryan, he promised to buy him OPTIMUS PRIME (another transformer for those of you who don't know :))!!
(Wed, 29th Oct)Phone rings....
Ja: "Hello Daddy?" I took the Bumblebee back already leh...CK: "Wow! That's great! I'm so proud of you!"Ja: " Can you buy my Optimus Prime? I wait for your surprise ok!!?":)))CK: (SILENT...)Heh heh heh! Well ck if you throw this kind of promise... your boy will definitely get the challenge done!
So as at today, Ja is the proud owner of BumbleBee and Optimus Prime and they are sleeping with him at Palm Garden! :))
Recently dear Ja gave us a revelation..
He did something quite clever so me and ck praised him by saying...
CK: "Wow! You are so clever leh!"Ja: "No la.. I got thousand million brains and i only used one only!"CK: "thousand million? wow! Why you need so many brains??"Ja: "Aiya, everyday one brain will die but every morning there will be NEW BRAINS. That's why I am very clever!! Sometimes I use only one brain but sometimes i need to use more..."
What a revelation! And we felt this is so biblical too! The bible has always been talking about God of new things, about new wineskin, etc
Let's think like Ja Ja and we'll never be limited for new challenges to face and new problems to solve every single new day!!!
With so many surprises from this boy... how can one feel stressed??
JEWELMy dear JewJew has started on her solid food and she is absolutely loving it!!
She eats a great variety ranging from rice cereals, to pumpkins, to sweet potatoes, to carrots... yum yum!
Everyday when it's 11am and 5pm, she will start to make noises to ask for her food to be served!!
Another way to show that she is impatient is to blow her saliva till she looks like a piglet!
(BUt she only does it in front of Me, Ja and Aunty Jona) How about her daddy??
Well, she is a Daddy's girl.. She puts on absolutely the best behaviour in front of CK. Always, without fail... a sweet smile reserved just for him!
Once we tried to play "catching" with CK... and she only giggled!
(OMG!) Cos when she plays catching withher bro Ja, both of them SCREAMS and LAUGHS!!!
What a difference! She likes to IMPRESS her dad and always behaves as a good girl girl in front of CK! But when she is just with us, esp Ja... she makes sure Ja gives in to her! What a Jewjew!!
HAVE MORE KIDS! THEY ARE SUCH A JOY COS THEY ARE SO DIFFERENT IN PERSONALITY AND YET FROM THE SAME DNA!I wonder how our third one will look like or behaves.....??? (No Pun intended :))
