Eventful Wednesday

Last Wednesday was a Barney Day for little Jewel.. It was raining heavily and the plan to watch The Barney show was a very impromptu thingy.
In any case, I booked a cab and rushed to United Square with Jewel in the midst of the rain.
Oh my, it was so crowded even though there was another half hour before the show begins!!

Suddenly I thought of walking into Chocz n ordered a cuppa coffee and cake while having a great view seated down! Momentarily, I felt so smart!! Hahahaha
Jewel needed time to warm up ( just like Ja when he was young)! And by the time she was dancing, singing and waving at Barney, the show was over!! But this gal really did enjoy herself.

Guess being a mum of 3 means I have to have time together with each individual kids, to bring them out for a treat etc.. It really does work magic! We did that for Ja ( his beyblade competition) last week and now with Jew for her Barney treat.. This makes them feel special that daddy and mummy are spending time with them ALONE and at the same time, they also will think about their other siblings while they are out with us!

Never did I know that J3 also wants to 'spend quality time'
with me!! That very night, my helper Jona discovered that his urine was stained with blood. We were shocked and scared and rushed him to KK children's emergency. Poor Josh was diagnosed with UTI ( suspected) and had to be warded.

The rest was history. We spent 4 days in KK and he was only discharged on Sunday. Throughtout this stay, mummy was so so tired. Though we opted for a Single bed room( as we had insurance to cover), it's just not the same as Gleneagles!
Everything in KK has to wait and wait and wait! Treatment only started 2 days later as we had to WAIT for the test results to confirm it's UTI. Waited for half a day for another set of results to be out before Josh was discharged. Upon approval, we waited for another hour before we can walk out of the hospital!!
Sigh, guess next time I will opt for Gleneagles if there is anything (God forbid!!)
Well, thank God it's finally over! Ja and Jew were so happy to see their baby back home again. They had been waiting and asking for Josh..

Those 4 days were one of the worst I experienced... To see Josh having needles and tubes poked into his little hands and feet.
Now whenever we put him down for diaper change, he would screamed his heart out! He must have thought it's another round of blood test again:( poor baby...
