Ja came to me excitedly yesterday after service and said,"Mummy, do you know we are moving to Suntec for church very soon?"
I asked him how he came to know about it and he said children's church told them.
So when he saw the Suntec Convention Centre on the front page of City News, his first response was.. "Wow! So they are going to knock down this whole Suntec and build a City Harvest Church there??" LOL! Think he imagined the building to be liken to Jurong West St 91 where there will be a big cross and a big CHC name!
I clarified with him that its not going to be so.. think should have made him an EM and let him hear the explanation from Pst Kong himself during the AGM! (Just joking!)
Then Ja's next response was.." Wow! Then next time after service, I can go straight to the arcade and also Toys "R" Us!!! Wow! That's NICE!!! (I nearly fainted!)
Ja: "Mummie, teacher said to bring my piggy down to church next week for Arise and
Build.."
Moi: "So, how much do you intend to give to build God a house? How about the whole
Piggy?"
Ja: "Erm, No la.. let me count my money inside first, then I decide.."
(FAINT FAINT!) Actually, I think Ja is a smart boy. He loves God but he doesn't just give without thinking! Hahaha or rather, should I say he is counting his cost!!
Well, perhaps today i will empty his piggy and count his coins together with him. Will have to let God touch his heart for the amount to give.. I will just stay out of the picture!
