Finally!!! Tonight marks my last night as a FULL TIME mum::)) Gosh! Time flies but I must say it has not been easy though...
Tmr if NOTHING GOES WRONG, my helper Jona will be back from her holidays. And that will mean Peace and Joy for me and Ck again! Hehehe..
The last 3 weeks have been stretching, but I was glad I went through it, cos it really made me feel more like a mum (at least for Jewel) cos ever since she was born, Jona has been her key care-giver.
Ck and I feel really bonded to our kids now! These 3 weeks made our capacity greater.. cos we have to coax them to sleep, wake up really early, ferry them to nanny's place. fetch them back home after a day's work.. and especially Sundays, I have to single-handedly prepare everything before we set off to church!
Hahaha I know Jiaying is very sian of my bragging already:) But I must say my porridge making skills have gone up since Ja's toddler's days! Mmmm.. maybe age is catching up so my woman's cooking instincts have also gone up!
Anyway, after tonight, I won't have to ferry them to and fro everyday rain or shine.. I can also afford to work later without having to worry about putting them to bed!
The next big thing? Well. Prince Ja's birthday is coming up.. 28th May
He was so funny.. woke up really early this morning and took out our table calendar. And then he took a red pen and started to mark out his birthday and the number of times he will be celebrating his birthday.. (with his cg ie Siew Choo's cg, with Ck's family, with his classmates, and with my family!) Wow! 4 times!!!
So we are arranging for his mini party this Sunday. This time round, we plan for a family gathering as we do not wish to tax everyone of their time and $$$$! Ja has grown up and he is like Ck.. who likes small gatherings with people he is comfortable and familier with.. So guess 6 years old is a right age to down-size his party to a smaller scale! Good for me too! Phew!
But those close uncles and auntys out there, do help me encourage him by wishing him a happy birthday when u see him in church ya?

P.S. I can start wearing nicer for svcs now that Jona is back! Hee hee!
